Christmas fizz & canapés

starters

Carrot, Coconut & Ginger Soup served with lacinato kale and garlic croutons. (V)

Homemade Game ( Pheasant and Venison) & Green Peppercorn Ternine served with onion marmalade, crispy salad and granary bread.

Cray Fish, Prawns and Crab Meat Cocktail in a Marie Rose sauce on a bed of crispy leaves, served with granary bread. (GF)

Mediterranean Roasted Vegetables and Goat Cheese, served in filo tart on a bed of crispy leaves and shaved Grana Padano. (V)

MAIN COURSE

Roasted Turkey Crown wrapped in Prosciutto di Serrano stuffed with italian sausages & masala-steeped cranberries, 'pigs in blanket', roast potatoes, mangetout, carrots julienne and Yorkshire puddings. (GF on request)

Beef Wellington- Aberdeen Angus fillet steak with wild mushrooms, goose liver parfait wrapped in Prosciutto di Serrano & puff pastry, served with roast potatoes, mangetout, carrots julienne & port and cranberry reduction.          ( served medium)

Slow cooked Welsh Lamb Shank in red wine and fresh rosemary, served with fluffy mashed potatoes, mangetout and carrots julienne.

Oven Cooked Loch Duart Salmon Fillet served with Brussel sprout & spring onion mashed potatoes, samphire, shellfish and a lobster & Prosecco sauce. 

Vegetable Wellington - roasted vegetables, hazelnuts, cranberries and brie in a puff pastry crust served with roast potatoes, mangetout, carrots julienne and gravy. (V)

DESSERT

Traditional Christmas Pudding served warm with Brandy Custard.

Panna Cotta with fruits of the forest and buttery shortbread biscuits.

Santa's Chocolate Sleigh- chocolate sponge with Devon custard, cream filled profiteroles and chocolate ganache, served with forest fruit sauce.

Chocolate Brownie served with raspberry sorbet & berries. ( GF )

CHEESE

Cheeseboard of three cheeses & biscuits & a glass of Taylor's.
